Lunch ideas for Daycare for a 2 year old?
My two year old daughter has just started going to daycare. I was needing some ideas for packing her lunch? She is such a fussy eater! I think she is sick of the same thing too, usually I pack a yogurt and a piece of fruit for morning tea, a sandwich and muesli bar and juice for lunch, and biscuits and fruit stick for afternoon tea.
So I’m looking for some new ideas

This is a days idea:-
Morning snack -
-5 small crackers with a little cream cheese on top.
or
-small bunch of grape, a peeled tangerine, apple chunks
Lunch –
Sandwich ( to add variety you could give her a wrap with cream cheese and ham), yogurt, bottle of milk or water.
Sandwiches can include (i use wheat bread normally – or rye)
-Grated Cheese
-Tuna (no mayo) and sweetcorn.
- ham
- cream cheese
her sandwiches need to be light and fresh – oh and don’t forget a little butter on the bread to stop it from going soggy!
Preferably make sure your yogurt is all natural (organic) as many of the ones marketed at young kids are full of sugar, fromage fraise are the best for young fussy eater as they contain no bits!
After noon snack -
Plain Popcorn or chopped veggie or fruit or a biscuit as a treat!
Provided you are giving her a warm meal at night, this should be great! You are doing all the correct things by making sure she has a lot of fruit. Just make sure she doesn’t have too much sugar, in juice boxes and bisuits, fruit and yogurts contain alot of natural suger themselves! If she eats a lot put a couple of bits in for snack rather than one as I suggested!
