there is no difference between Oolong or Darjeeling or any other Assam. They have their distinctive flavors and aroma, but aiding in losing weight? And then they show Oprah supporting the act.
The Chinese believes that after taking oily food, it is good to down it with tea. That’s why most Chinese restaurant serves hot tea – Oolong or Jasmine or others – to down dim sum or Chinese food. It was supposed to dissolve the fats or something and then pass it through the body. Does it works? I don’t know if it works but I have a theory….you drank so much liquid (tea) that you don’t eat as much as you normally would. Tea by itself should not have any calorie.
