Best cheap place for afternoon tea in Dorset, Devon and London?
I live in Devon near the border of Dorset and regularly visits London, but never attend the picnic. My boyfriend is Italian like to try the authentic tea while I complete the ritual, they do not want to pay £ 20 to 40 for him that of the famous hotels like the Ritz and Browns restaurants such as loading Claridges. Any suggestions?
Try Ilchester Arms in Abbotsbury, Dorset. Fantastic pub, good food in a beautiful village. Swannery park and ride or hike in the Santa Catalina chapel overlooking Chesil Beach and Channel (which was saved when Enrique VIII dissolved the monasteries in late 1530) and then take afternoon tea in the pub. http://www.ilchester-arms.co.uk As you are in the Devon Dorset border will not be very long journey.
